Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is the primary health care profession that promotes wellness, mobility and independent function.

Physiotherapists have an advanced understanding of how the body moves, what keeps it moving and how to restore mobility.

Physiotherapy involves manual techniques (using hands), modalities (ice, heat, ultrasound, interferential current, acupuncture), and active progressive therapy programs (exercise prescription). Our Registered Physiotherapists are licensed with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists.
